St John's is the parish church of Farncombe, an 'urban village' type community a few miles south of Guildford. The style of our worship is 'modern Catholic' with the Parish Eucharist on Sundays at 10am at the centre of our life together in Jesus Christ. Currently about 70-100 of us gather for this service. On the first Sunday of the month this is a 'Family Service' which is a bit more informal. There are quieter and smaller services too, and a variety of ways of being involved through church groups and activities.

Godalming Parish Church dates back to the 9th century and we have a section of a Saxon Font that is dated 820-840 AD.  Possibly the oldest font in England.

Beautifully situated in the heart of the town but overlooking a park and water meadows, the church is a very attractive location and has featured in a number of films and TV series.

Our church is open everyday of the year and we strive to make it a place "where all are welcome" 

The church has suitable meeting facilities located in the Octagon including a creche  and toilets with changing facilities for little ones.
